Our wait times can vary based on the individual needs of the child and the availability of therapists. The wait time maybe two to three months long. Dr Dorothy Armstrong and Sandra O’Connor both complete assessments. Sandra O’Connor specialises in assessing and treating children from three to seven years of age. Dr Dorothy Armstrong specialises in assessing and treating children from age eight years of age to young adults.

The wait time may be over six months for three to seven year olds. Sandra O’Connor specialises in assessing and treating children from three to seven years of age. Dr Dorothy Armstrong specialises in assessing and treating children from age eight years of age to young adults. In order to provide the best quality service and avoid any delays in intervention, we require that you complete a parent questionnaire and return it to the service. We want to ensure that we can meet your child’s needs at Achieve Occupational Therapy.
This will vary depending on the needs of the child and will be decided following initial assessment and consultation with your therapist. Typically, we will see a child for a series of ten sessions. Our goal is to provide our parents with knowledge and tools to support their children. If further intervention is required, it will be provided on a consultation model depending on the needs of the child.
